What a game. It couldn't have been scripted any better. Canada 3-USA 2 in OT.
It was a battle the whole olympics for Team Canada. Lots of self inflicted pressure from the rest of Canada. Canada wears its hockey passion on its sleeve and I'm just as passionate. Go Canada Go. And they prevail.
A quick take away has to be the Burke and Co. built USA machine. Awesome. If/when Burke gets his other team built the same way, I can stake claim to my parade seat on Bay st.
What an awesome Olympic tournament.

Too good to be true...?
A lot of us have been conditioned to think that when something comes along that seems too good to be true, it probably is. But what about when it is true? Like the whole personal branding phenomena. Seems everyone has a blog, facebook, a myspace page, something on youtube. Some piece of social media. Maybe it's the pursuit of the 15 minutes of fame idea from the past and wanting more. Hell, I even have these things now. A little slow getting out of the gate and running. Maybe I'm pacing myself for the finish. i just need more people to have a look. Be patient, I'll come up with something witty to say.
Anyways, I saw the coolest post of the day come accross my facebook page today - “Cash in on your passion”. Here is the link: http://www.channelship.ie/blog/post-2094-cash-in-on-your-passion.php - check out the video in the middle of the page with Gary Vaynerchuk sitting on the couch. Lifes tough ain't it?
Go Team Canada women.

The Fender Stratocaster
I just started a GROUP on FACEBOOK called STRAT'S ARE WHERE ITS AT : http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=289696991600&ref=search&sid=868650437.979029431..1
My idea here is get people to tell me about their guitar, Strat, experiences.
After gigging with them for more than 25 years, I still find them the most dynamic and versatile guitar to play. Mine can cover everything from pretty nuances to in your face growl.
There are many excellent resources on the internet for Strat's. One of my fav's is STRATCOLLECTOR .COM
My main one at the moment is an 86 American Standard with an E4 serial number. Black with a maple neck, all stock. The American Standard in 86 was the guitar that reinvented FENDER after some difficult production years under CBS. These were the guitars that revived Fender. I can attest to the notion, play one and you'll never put it down.
